About
Megan Roy
Hi and welcome!
I’m Megan, a digital illustrator, author, and surface designer who uses organic shapes and layered textures to bring energy, excitement, and a little bit of grit to everything I make. My work is playful and relatable with a touch of quiet mischief, much like my real-life personality. What I value most is original, inventive thinking, and clever execution. I have fun when I’m making art, and I want you to feel that when you look at it.
My published works include the interactive children’s book series Can You Do This? and The Endless Art Challenge Deck: a never-ending inspiration generator and creativity booster for artists of all skill levels. Illustrations, surface pattern design, character portraits, and hand-lettering are all in my wheelhouse – my work can be found on greeting cards, tour merch, books, murals, puzzles, phone cases, magazines, commercials, social media and much more.
Fun facts: I love Halloween, I’ve driven across the U.S. six times, and there is nothing I respect more than an elaborately planned and well-executed prank. I’m originally from New Hampshire, but am currently based in Los Angeles where I live with my beautiful, 50 pound, low-rider, pitbull mix, rescue dog named Tubby.
